With many a flaw

From my land
Which I may not hold dearest
My land nonetheless

For what
Status? Social standing?
Money? Living standards?
To fulfill expectations?
For experiences?

Away
Or not go away
My call to take
One I must take
Before the sand runs out
I hope I take one
Which I won't regret.
